  • Progress notes shared with adults or parents as needed

Frequently asked

Do I need my own piano?

A piano or weighted keyboard at home helps practise stick. For studio lessons you play on our instrument; for home lessons we work with what you have and can advise on suitable keyboards.

How long is a lesson?

Most students book 30, 45, or 60 minutes. We recommend a length that matches attention span and goals — especially for younger players.

Can I start without reading music?

Yes. Many adults begin by ear or with simplified notation. Reading is introduced gently when it serves your progress.

What about exams?

Exam routes are optional. If you want graded goals we can prepare thoughtfully; if you prefer pure enjoyment, that is equally welcome.
